Delivery information

Delivery Information:

  • Deliveries are made Tuesday to Saturday (no Sunday or Monday arrivals sorry). Saturday delivery costs an extra $10.
  • Orders need to be placed by 12noon in order to aim for next day delivery.
  • We cannot guarantee delivery dates or next day delivery sorry, as your gift is in the careful hands of NZ Post once it leaves us. If your order is for a specific event or date, please order ahead to be safe.
  • Rural Deliveries - Wednesday at 12noon is the last day in the week to place an order for Rural delivery. Rural delivery costs an extra $10. For Rural deliveries please allow 2 working days for delivery - our hampers are packed to stay chilled for 2-3 days so the food will arrive safely. We are unable to deliver to rural addresses on a Saturday sorry. To find out if your address is Rural or 'no Saturday delivery' - Click here.

The holiday season is here; what better time to send a gift of festive love and care to a family you love or value, with our popular Christmas Family Care Package.

All the holiday favourites are here, including a main meal from our fresh new holiday menu, a delectable cherry tart for dessert - and of course, don't forget the gourmet mince pies!

  • Christmas Ham & Egg Tart - Packed full of crispy ham, caramelised onion, and cheese, all married together in a creamy egg and herb mix and lovingly baked into a rich, buttery pastry. Generous pre-prepared family meal to cook in the oven or microwave (serve 4-6 people, approx. 1.2kg), handmade by chefs with local ingredients.
  • Dessert - A decadent family-size Cherry Morello Tart, cut into 10 generous slices, with whole Morello cherries encased in a vanilla short crust tart, made using French wheat flour.
    • Gourmet Bread - A divine Balsamic Roasted Onion and Parmesan Focaccia, handmade by Kapiti Artisan Bakehouse. This is an absolute team favourite!
    • Christmas Mince Pies - You simply have to try our famous Mince Pies, with a generous portion of spiced rich fruit filling and a touch of ginger, blended and soaked in sherry for six months, before being encased in buttery short crust pastry.
    • Christmas Truffles - Heavenly Christmas Truffles, handmade using aged Christmas cake, blended with festive nuts, fresh lemon and orange zest, rolled by hand and dipped in rich dark chocolate. Scrumptious!
      • Festive Popcorn - A fun taste of Christmas for family or friends, an irresistibly moreish taste of Christmas for all to enjoy.
        • Freshly-pressed Apple Juice - Our favourite freshly-pressed old-fashioned Mela Apple Juice, hand-pressed in Greytown

        Gorgeous pack

        We received a pack when our son passed and it saved us. I struggled to eat and knowing I didn’t have to cook was a relief. Now we get these packages for people when we can.

        Beautiful Food - Reliable Delivery - Great Variety

        Very happy with my Angel Care Package and it is a delightful gesture to gift a meal to the City Mission with each purchase of these. All the items were delicious - the only exception being the texture of the cherry tart - seemed a little strange perhaps as had been frozen? Only other area of improvement was a lovely handwritten note mentioned a "little something" as a thank you included, but there didn't seem to be anything in our delivery other than what was ordered, so a little confusing. Otherwise totally happy and will order again. The variety of choices to order is amazing too and oh that fudge.... no words really, it is just gold. Thank you and Merry Christmas to all you Angels.

        I was sent a care package recently from friends when i had covid for the first time - it truely restored my faith in human nature and was a totally unexpected surprise! So much so that two weeks later i shouted one for myself as i enjoyed it so much!

        Hi there, the recipient of the care package I ordered was feeling pretty low; positive covid test in the midst of trying to sell the house, as a result of a divorce, coupled with a few jobs that required doing in the house prior to sale and the people let him down last minute. All these things impact and the positive covid test was the last straw. The recipient was so thrilled to get the package, said it made their year! Delighted with all the content. Said it restored faith in humanity :-)
