Angel Makes: Annie’s Famous Christmas Truffles

This has become one of our team favourites, made by our beloved Annie. Delicious Festive Truffles - filled with an oreo centre and covered in creamy chocolate, perfect for an after dinner sweet treat!
Ingredients:
512g Oreo Cookies (4 packs)
250g Cream Cheese (room temperature)
500g Whittaker Creamy Milk Chocolate
1 Tsp Coconut Oil
50g Milk chocolate bar (for drizzle, optional)
Instructions:
1. In a blender blitz together Oreo cookies whole and make a fine crumb, (may need to do this in batches depending how big you blender is).
2. In a big bowl add crumbed Oreo and then your room temperature cream cheese, mix until combined.
3. Roll into small balls (makes approx. 30) and set them out on a tray.
4. Put in the fridge for an hour or the freezer for 30 minutes.
5. While that is cooling and setting melt your chocolate with a small amount of coconut oil in the microwave in 30 second increments OR double boil it over a saucepan. Once your balls are nice and firm now is the time to dip into your melted chocolate.
6. Cover in chocolate and set on the tray and place back in the fridge.
7. (Optional) Melt your White Chocolate for a drizzle once the Milk Chocolate has harden.
8. Place in the fridge to further set (about an hour). Then they are ready to serve and enjoy
Note: Best to keep these refrigerated - if they don’t all get eaten!
