As a paediatric nurse and mother of two children, our founder Rebecca Cass, understood the chaos and challenges that come with bringing home a new born baby. Rebecca found that all some mums and dads wanted was a warm, nourishing meal, so she started preparing these delicious new mum hampers that made a big difference to new parents. While Angel Delivery can’t give parents a restful night’s sleep, we can ensure they at least have a full stomach, so our food gift baskets really are the perfect gifts for loved ones wanting to support them with more practical gifts for first time mums.

Practical Help for New Mums in the form of delicious food

Just like with all our food basket options, a new mum hamper provides practical help in the form of delicious food, delivered straight to the front door of new parents, so preparing meals is just one less thing they have to worry about. We also understand that babies wait for no one, so if their little one has arrived early, simply place your Angel Delivery new mum gift order before midday for next day delivery, or if you need it even sooner than that, please leave a note to say that your new mum gift box is required urgently. Our Angel Delivery - New Baby Care Package provides two main meals from our menu, a comforting dessert, fresh loaf of bread, your choice of treat, a freshly-pressed juice, and a premium quality organic cotton Baby Muslin blanket. You may also choose to add-on our Angel Delivery - New Baby Bundle to any gift hamper from our range, which includes a Baby Muslin Swaddle, Hand-Crafted Tea, and a choice of Treat for mum and dad (or unexpected visitors!). And if you wish to add a special gift for baby, Angel Delivery - Weebits Knitted Baby Booties are the most adorable hand knitted baby garments, hand-knitted right here in New Zealand. They are made using 100% pure New Zealand merino wool and coloured using eco-friendly dye without chemicals or heavy metals.

Our New Baby Care Packages make the most perfect gifts for first time mums. They offer two family main meals to go in the fridge (or stock the freezer to save for later), along with sides, treats, and you can even add-on an adorable gift for the baby as well. If you want to give the best presents for new mums, but aren’t sure what to give them (or when is the best time for them to receive it), you can send them an Angel Delivery Gift Card. These can be sent electronically via email and redeemed whenever they fancy. Their choice of meals and treats from our website menu will be ready for delivery 6 days a week (from Tuesday to Saturday).
